Gravel pit to jasper ck gorge

We had another long day on Wednesday 22nd. Left the gravel pit and headed towards Gregory Nat Park. Ended up on the Buchanen Highway at Top Springs and paid $2.00/ltr for fuel.

The Buchanen hwy is gravel and very dusty and some spots abut 'how ya goin'!

We camped the night at Jasper gorge and listened to QLD thrash NSW again!!! Very crackly radio reception. Had beautiful hot showers under the stars with our hot shower yogi holds it for me and I hold it for him. - very bonding. lol. Yoges got the water out of the creek whilst Donna and I crock spotted. Karl assured us there were no crocs) even though there was a sign!!! Heading to Bulita homestead in Gregory Nat park. We have to find service to ring Meaghan for her Bday!!! 18!!! Wow

Just left the beautiful Adels grove, where co-indecently we had a drink with Pete Frith and Roger and Di Lyne. Jan was cooking their tea. Drove on the Savannah Way to Doomagee and did a drive through and we are now on our way to Hells Gate. Meaghans birthday today and she's ordered pizza , yogis syrup dumplings with cream n custard! Not bad for a bush camp feed. I've bought a packet choc cake and directions say mix on low for 3 mins then on high. I figure, I'll be low speed and Jodie can be high speed!!!!!! Hahaha.

Today the we split from the group and head into Darwin a day earlier than everyone. Catch up with my brother and his family. The camp we are in now is gorgeous. Green grass! Brad is in heaven. We all are. Red dirt is overrated we've decided. I took this photo from bed. What a view!
