El Questro

We are tossing up whether to stay another day or not as there is so much to see and such a beautiful camp.

We got up at 7ish and drove to zebedee springs which are hot springs. Heaps of people there. It is only open from 7-12 as the rich and famous from the el Questro resort (which you can only access by helicopter $5000/night) have it exclusively in the afternoon.

After a nice dip we then drove onto the el Questro gorge. A very rocky walk in. I decided to stay back at the car as my ankle (from my fall over the border) didn't feel stable enough. Yoges took lots of nice photos and they had another 'invigorating ' dip at the end. (2hr round trip walk)

We then drove onto moonshine gorge and just walked the little way into the gorge and had another 'invigorating' swim. There is a 5km round trip walk but we just did the swim and left.

Back to camp where we had lunch and a rest. Donsy and I decided to do some hand washing and we may go for a swim this arvo (writing this at 2.30pm)

Just left the beautiful Adels grove, where co-indecently we had a drink with Pete Frith and Roger and Di Lyne. Jan was cooking their tea. Drove on the Savannah Way to Doomagee and did a drive through and we are now on our way to Hells Gate. Meaghans birthday today and she's ordered pizza , yogis syrup dumplings with cream n custard! Not bad for a bush camp feed. I've bought a packet choc cake and directions say mix on low for 3 mins then on high. I figure, I'll be low speed and Jodie can be high speed!!!!!! Hahaha.

Day 10

Today the we split from the group and head into Darwin a day earlier than everyone. Catch up with my brother and his family. The camp we are in now is gorgeous. Green grass! Brad is in heaven. We all are. Red dirt is overrated we've decided. I took this photo from bed. What a view!
