Cloncurry to Mt Isa
The country is so green around Cloncurry and Mt Isa. The Cloncurry River was full.
I just love the rocky country and we were fascinated by the church on the outskirts of Mt Isa way up on the top of a rocky hill.
We fuelled up again in Mt Isa and I then had to shop for a battery charger at Harvey Norman. (Mine not charging the camera batteries which is handy - Not!!)
We left Mt Isa at about 4pm and hoped to make Camooweal.
We did make Camooweal before dark. A bonus is the sun sets later here than at home. So we are camping on the banks of the Georgina River which is covered in flowering water lilies.
Tomorrow we hope to go to Barkly Homestead for an early lunch and make a decision when we get there as the roads are still iffy after the rain.
