Wolfe creek

We travelled to Wolfe Creek on Friday and arrived late fri arvo. Set up camp and visited the crater on Saturday. Saw the shed where the movie was made and stopped and took photos. The crater is the second biggest meteorite crater in the world. Glad I wasn't around when it hit!

Hit the track - literally (Tanimi desert track) and have had two days of nothing!!!!! Have arrived in an Aboriginal community and needed fuel $2.90/ltr.

Arriving at Alice Springs this afternoon. Catch up on groceries, washing etc. then onto The Plenty Highway towards Birdsville.

On the way home now! 😥. Cool weather (nights)!

Just left the beautiful Adels grove, where co-indecently we had a drink with Pete Frith and Roger and Di Lyne. Jan was cooking their tea. Drove on the Savannah Way to Doomagee and did a drive through and we are now on our way to Hells Gate. Meaghans birthday today and she's ordered pizza , yogis syrup dumplings with cream n custard! Not bad for a bush camp feed. I've bought a packet choc cake and directions say mix on low for 3 mins then on high. I figure, I'll be low speed and Jodie can be high speed!!!!!! Hahaha.

Today the we split from the group and head into Darwin a day earlier than everyone. Catch up with my brother and his family. The camp we are in now is gorgeous. Green grass! Brad is in heaven. We all are. Red dirt is overrated we've decided. I took this photo from bed. What a view!
