Bungle bungles day two

Got up had breaky and left for a walk to Cathedral Gorge. Wow. Just wow. Karl had strapped my ankle so went as well. Tom was ahead of us and when he got there, there was a lady singing amazing grace. He said it gave him goose bumps. We took lots of photos and then left to do the Domes circuit. So glad we did it in the morning as it was quite hot when we got out of the rocks. We went back to camp via info centre where Karl Donna and Tom organised a helicopter flight for 2pm. Yogi and I will do our in two years time for our planned return trip.
Yogi and I stayed back at camp while they did their flight. Yoges had to fix our 2nd battery box in camper as the floor had come away and was half hanging down. Bloody horrigations. When the others came back from their terrific flight it turned out their pilot was from Clifton and another pilot there 'Nigel' is from Kaimkillenbun. They come up for the season ea year. Donsy made curried sausages and rice. Had a warm shower in our camp shower under an amazing blanket of stars. Leafving the bungles tomorrow. Off to Halls Ck (get some fuel and supplies) then off to Wolfe Creek Crater then onto Tanimi for a couple of Days. Heading to Alice Springs then Birdsville.
