Day 4 - adels Grove

We didn't make Adels on the day we were supposed to and the reviews on WikiCamps had us quite afraid that we would be disappointed. 
The drive in is so diverse - I could see that Dorothy Mckeller could of been on this drive when she wrote 'My Country'!  
We arrived at Adels at lunch time and Selina the lady at reception was lovely.  After MUCH deliberation we found a nice spot that we both could fit into. We unpacked and had some
Lunch. 
By 3pm we were set up and the boys went for a swim and us girls went for a 'Nanna'. 
We had a drink and went for a wander down to look at the water then came back and started a fire. Just a beautiful spot. Once again Adels has not disappointed.

Just left the beautiful Adels grove, where co-indecently we had a drink with Pete Frith and Roger and Di Lyne. Jan was cooking their tea. Drove on the Savannah Way to Doomagee and did a drive through and we are now on our way to Hells Gate. Meaghans birthday today and she's ordered pizza , yogis syrup dumplings with cream n custard! Not bad for a bush camp feed. I've bought a packet choc cake and directions say mix on low for 3 mins then on high. I figure, I'll be low speed and Jodie can be high speed!!!!!! Hahaha.

Day 10

Today the we split from the group and head into Darwin a day earlier than everyone. Catch up with my brother and his family. The camp we are in now is gorgeous. Green grass! Brad is in heaven. We all are. Red dirt is overrated we've decided. I took this photo from bed. What a view!
