our trip
We have had a great trip so far. The first night we spent at Eulo and experienced our first ever bush camping. We stayed at friends of Karls and they were really nice. They put a BBQ on for us. The next day we got up and travelled towards Camerons Corner. We had lunch at Thargomindah and camped on the side of the road. We have only stayed in actual caravan parks for 3 nights - the rest has been bush camping. Camerons corner consists of a pub and a fence basically. Tom was very enthralled by the pub ceiling as it had money thumb tacked to it. There was even a $100note up there. The kids were also amused by the toilet signs. Drip dry & Flip dry - guess which is male and female!!!!!!! The next night we stayed at the Monticolini bore. It was a lagoon with a little inlet where the hot bore was running into it. The lagoon was freezing and the little inlet pool was too hot to be in. We eventually did so...
